Covid-19 Update From Cycle Regarding Nityr

At Cycle Pharmaceuticals, the health and safety of patients with tyrosinemia type 1 (HT-1) is our top priority. As the Coronavirus increases in worldwide prevalence, please have full confidence that the supply chain for NITYR® (nitisinone) Tablets is fully organized and managed to serve patients with HT-1 and their caregivers, even in times of disasters or lockdowns.

Over the last several weeks, Cycle has taken actions to increase the stock of Nityr Tablets in the United States. By doing such, Cycle will have enough NITYR Tablets stocked in the US to supply patients for the next two years. Additionally, we have an equal amount of NITYR Tablets supply stocked outside the US that can be deployed as needed.

Further, Cycle has diversified the warehousing of all its medicines in the US and abroad by placing stock at additional locations. Cycle has the flexibility to manage our supply chain in event of any interruption.

Cycle’s Third-Party Logistics (3PL) and Specialty Pharmacy partners all have rigorous protocols and procedures in place to continue to get products to patients, even in times of disasters or lockdowns.

NITYR® Tablets have a three-year expiration (shelf-life) period.
As you can see, we do not take these matters lightly. The health and safety of patients with HT-1 is our top priority.
If you have any questions regarding our supply chain, please get in touch with the NITYR Patient Support Program (toll-free) 1-800-847-8714 (9 am – 5 pm EST).
